Description |
Certificate issued to James J. Murray, sailor on the World War II troop transport ship U.S.S. Billy Mitchell AP114, commemorating his crossing the equator for the first time. Certificate has green borders with a picture of King Neptune at the top and mermaids at the bottom corners of the certificate. There is an American eagle holding two flags at the bottom of the certificate along with a gold seal at the bottom left with a red, white and blue ribbon. Certificate is in a gray matte and black plastic frame. |
