Lid lifts up (hinged in back), in front of the lid is a roll that lists various spices (ginger, cinnamon). The front has a picture of a man wearing a uniform; he has a large mustache and is surrounded by scrollwork. Below the picture is another door that slides up. (door is curved). Door says "John T. Hancock & Sons, Dubuque, Iowa."

Long fur stole, possibly made of fox fur. The fur is a light reddish brown color. There are seven tassels on either side made of the same fur. With twenty-five more of the same tassels along the bottom edge and ends of the stole. The tassels are attached to the stole with green cording.

A four part sausage stuffer. There is a crank with a wooden handle. The crank is attached to a metal toothed bar. One end of the bar has a circle and fits into a metal cylinder. The cylinder has a pipe inside and a hole at the opposite end of the bar. All parts are mounted on a piece of wood.

This is a oil on canvas painting of the Julien Dubuque monument and the green hills surrounding it. In the background are the Mississippi River and some trees. A bridge is in the foreground on the right. The sky is partly cloudy and the monument is white. The frame is wood.

Etching of Main Street in Downtown Dubuque. The etching is hand colored and has a view of the street and buildings. There are people wandering up and down both sides of the street. There are a few wagons in the street. The back of the frame dates this print as pre-Civil War. The print is white matte and a cream colored wood frame.
